PAL BT

After 31 years operating high end audio shops , the simplicity, sound quality and steadfastness of both my Model One and now my PAL BT are a special type of thrill. Lounging in our nice yard is even more enjoyable with PAL sitting on the fence behind me, playing lovely classical music or jazz.Both signals are on the weak side, but PAL has zero trouble w/ them. Both BT & headphones are truly useful features too, PAL is a no bells & whistles unit, a true achievement in a day when you can’t buy a car without an “ entertainment center.”

Tivoli PAL user since 2003 This is my 3rd PAL radio But first with Blue tooth. I bought the new BT PAL to make it easier to pair with my iPhone (no mini stereo jack), since I mainly use it for at work to go from my desk to my workbench. I also have an old Tivoli Song book (love it) i use as my garage Radio, and My 1st PAL (no BT) got demoted to my portable out door radio.

If your lucky you may find a portable BT speaker system with FM radio but to find a good one with AM as well, its not gonna happen.

The Tivoli Pal's simplicity, portability, reception, battery life, and sound (even with just the one speaker) are more than enough, for a whole days worth of use. I usually go 2 to 3 days between charges.

If I was to loose this radio, I would find it necessary to replace it

I work in radio and need to monitor my station-the "over-the-air" signal-not the streamed one through an app. Love: The color...the rechargeable battery (that can also be replaced)...the antenna that can fold out of sight when not in use (Way better than a wire)...the ability to aux in or out of it...Oh yeah, and I can still prove I'm not totally ancient by having a bluetooth option if I need it. Really, no stone left unturned on this design. I had a Model 1 that died so this replaces that unit.
