The radio has very good sound

With help from product support, I “rebooted” the operating system and now the radio alarm is working. Sound quality is very good and with a little effort the radio has earned another star.

I just received and set up my MOD Gen 2 and like it’s sound and Bluetooth connectivity. I bought it essentially for the clock radio so I can wake up to NPR news, however bad it may be. I (full disclosure OK Boomer) managed to set clock, enable WiFi, Bluetooth, set alarm, and activate the alarm. But so far, no alarm function. What am I missing? More directions would be helpful for those of us. More stars if I can get the alarm to work.

I'm using the Tivoli's wi-fi mode to stream music from my MacBook air via Apple Music and AirPlay. I auditioned several other so-called "smart speakers" for this role and found their sound too "forward" (in-your-face) and unnatural for my "old school" ears. I listen mostly to jazz, rock, blues, and R&B from the '50s through the '70s, and this speaker delivers a clarity and body that perfectly matches the music. Just what I was looking for, and just what I need!
